GO BANG! Presents Paul Goodyear, Tal M Klein, Eddie House & MORE at Deco Lounge, Sat May 28

San Francisco has a diverse disco scene that often crosses over but not often enough. The goal of Go BANG! is to bring the crews and their devoted dancers together in a mixed, diverse, exciting environment, with a nod to the diversity and freedom of the 70’s/80’s San Francisco/New York/Chicago disco nightlife!

Taking inspiration from the classic Dinosaur L. song
“I wanna see all my friends at once
I’ll do anything to get a chance to
Goooo BANG!”

**Special Guest: Paul Goodyear:
Producer DJ Paul Goodyear is an extraordinary DJ and an international phenomenon that has become a brand name in the industry. He regularly headlines some of the biggest entertainment events in the world. His style encapsulates an incredible range. With many artists struggling to stay relevant as musical trends come and go and technology changes the playing field, Paul has shown a remarkable gift for not just staying abreast of these trends, but for contributing to them and shaping them himself. Originally from Sydney and currently based in San Francisco, Paul has been the headlining DJ for many of world’s highest-profile clubs and parties over 25 years. The Bay Area Reporter called Paul Goodyear a “world-renowned mix master.” Dance Music Authority Magazine called him a “Disco dignitary” and Gay News Network labelled him a “DJ Sensation.” Paul held the longest standing Saturday night residency in Australian history by performing from 1999 to 2006 at ARQ nightclub in Sydney. Here, he combined his love of the hi-NRG, circuit and disco styles to create an uplifting journey every Saturday night for 7 years. Innovation, in this industry, lies at the soul of the art and there is no greater innovator than Paul Goodyear. He not only entertains audiences, he inspires them. Spend an evening on the master’s dance floor and you will see that he is at once both generous and bold – he makes daring choices, while constantly paying attention to the mood of the crowd and the spirit of the event. You will leave knowing that you have witnessed someone still very much at the top of his game, doing what he loves and sharing this love with you.

**Featuring: Tal M. Klein:
Somewhere around 1996 Dave Marino (whom Tal met while doing a late night talk show called “The Saturday Night Hangover” at their university radio station) let him into his recording studio in Belmont, New York. Since then Tal has been an auditory menace to the world at large, forcing his records, mp3’s, and cd’s down everybody throats like it was cod oil and the asian flu was going out of business. Tal is all about drunk funk, that’s music which inspires one to both chill and shake their ass at the same time. Finding that perfect funky record, to him, is like winning the chocolate, money, and sex lottery.

**Featuring: Eddie House *Go BANG! Premiere!*
Growing up in the SF Bay Area music has always been in Eddie’s family. His Father and Uncles were a popular band back in the 1960’s called “The Apostol Bros.” later changing into “The Heartbeat Band.” Everything that Eddie learned about Old School and Classic Soul has been through his father’s vinyl, which he holds as a treasure to this day. It’s no wonder why he is in love with any genre that has to do with Soul. Eddie began collecting and studying his vinyl since he was a teenager. Always having a fascination with Funk and Soul this sums up the eclectic, tasteful music selection Eddie brings to the tables and dance floor. He adopted the moniker “Eddie House” to describe his love for House Music, rhythm, soul, funk, disco and grooves.
